Dr. Andee Youngblood - Veterinarian

Dr. Andee is a Colorado native, proudly calling Castle Rock, CO, home.

She began her college career at the University of Central Florida on a volleyball scholarship, where she earned her degree in Hospitality Management. After graduation, she spent several years working for a Marriott Vacation Club property in Orlando. While she loved working in customer service and connecting with people, she knew she was looking for a different way to make a meaningful impact.

Andee eventually returned home to Colorado and attended Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology, where she became a licensed veterinary technician. During that time, she began working at Brooklyn Veterinary Clinic in her hometown, where she would spend the next 10 years building her career and developing a deep passion for veterinary medicine. With encouragement from Dr. Kathy at Brooklyn Veterinary Clinic, along with the support of her family, Andee ultimately decided to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian.

She was accepted to Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. After graduation, she returned home to Colorado to serve the community she loves. She has continued to practice in small animal general practice, an area that has always been close to her heart.

Throughout her career, Andee always hoped that one day she would have the opportunity to return to her roots at Brooklyn Veterinary Clinic, where her veterinary journey began. She is thrilled to now be a part of the team once again and looks forward to caring for the pets and families in the community she has called home for so many years.

Dr. Andee has a particular interest in feline medicine and physical rehabilitation. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with family and friends in the area, playing with her three kitties, playing pickleball and tennis, and tackling projects around her home.
